When and where to see the Red Arrows this weekend
The Red Arrows are flying over Lancashire this weekend and we have everything you need to know about seeing them.
They will be in the vicinity of Kinmel Bay and Rhyl in North Wales at 5.18pm and will then fly over the sea, appearing off the coast of Lytham St Annes at 5.23pm and the Blackpool at 5.25pm. The squad will then fly over Thornton Cleveleys to north of Great Eccleston at 5.26pm before turning south towards Kirkham and Wesham at 5.27pm and then landing at Blackpool Airport two minutes later.
This will last for more than 20 minutes before they fly out over the sea at 2.24pm before landing at 2.25pm. Sunday's display will follow the same route, however the times will be between 4.49pm and 5.25pm. Visitors will be able to get up close and personal with a Red Arrows jet as the RAF is bringing a life-size replica to the free event. They will have a unique opportunity to climb into the cockpit and get a taste of what it is like to be a Red Arrows pilot.
