There will be a chance to see the jets flying over Greater Manchester this afternoon.
The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team will be spotted in the sky on Friday afternoon as they make their way from their base at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire to Blackpool Airport
And the route they are taking means the flight plan goes over a large part of the region - giving people on the ground a chance to glimpse the distinctive red Hawk trainer jets.After taking off at 4pm the Red Arrows will fly towards the Peak District and from Glossop towards Oldham.
Timings If you miss seeing the Red Arrows on Friday there will be another chance on Saturday. The jets will once again fly over the region as they head to Southport Air Show for midday where they are due to wow the crowds with a display. They will be due to fly over Bolton at 11.56am.
