The 24-year-old, who is the daughter of Reese Witherspoon , joyfully posed with a rainbow flag in an Instagram post she shared Saturday.
Ava is the oldest of two children shared by exes Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe. They also share 20-year-old son Deacon.Ava attended UC Berkeley and has previously shared her relationship with Owen Mahoney, who she met at the college. However, the current status of their relationship remains unknown.
The actress made the revelation during a virtual interview with Watchmen star Regina King - with whom she co-starred in Legally Blonde 2 in 2003 - as part of Variety's Actors on Actors series. Speaking from her home in California about her TV show Little Fires Everywhere, based on Celeste Ng's hit 2017 novel, Reese told Regina: 'No one spoke to me about sexuality when I was a teenager.
