For its 2024 update, the 2008 gets Peugeot’s new lighting signature characterized by the three vertical claw lights integrated into the black inserts of the bumper. Full LED headlights—now with three separate lighting modules—give a more distinctive look. Sandwiched in-between is a wider grille and the new Peugeot shield logo. New alloy wheel designs and restyled rear lighting complete the changes.

In terms of powertrain, the 2024 Peugeot 2008 arrives with a series of conventional and electrified powertrains. For fans of pure gas engines, the range starts with the PureTech 100 and its 1.2-liter 3-cylinder good for 100 horsepower. This engine comes solely with a 6-speed manual. Moving up, there’s the PureTech 130—a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder good for 130 horsepower. This version can be had with an 8-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual. Finally, there’s also the BlueHDi 130 and its 1.

Coming at the start of 2024 is a hybrid engine. This 48-volt mild hybrid electrifies the 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine. This is mated to a new 6-speed dual clutch automatic. In terms of safety, the 2004 Peugeot 2008 comes with adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, driver attention alert, and blind spot monitoring.
