BREAKING Jamie-Lee Harvie, aged 12, found after 8 days missing
The family of a 12-year-old girl missing for more than a week say she is now "in good hands" after being found earlier on Wednesday.
A member of Jamie-Lee's family has took to social media on Wednesday to inform those following the search that she has been found and is safe. Police then confirmed she had been found safe in the Irvine area. "Thanks to everyone in their contribution to finding her. From getting it posted over social media platforms to some people going out their way to find her, thank you."
Steven has detailed the searches for Jamie Lee on his Facebook page over the last eight days. He said the family had searched across Ayrshire and scoured CCTV in a bid to work out where she might have gone.
