Human remains were found in a wastewater collection point near the home of the missing Texas A&M-Corpus Christi student from New Braunfels.
Human remains were found Monday in a well near the Corpus Christi apartment of missing student Caleb Harris , but police have not announced any connection to his case. 'This location and area was previously checked in the early days of searching for missing person Caleb in March,' a release from the Corpus Christi Police Department said.
Police and the Corpus Christi Fire Department responded to the scene, where fire crews put on hazmat suits to recover the remains. The remains will be identified by the Medical Examiner's Office, according to the release. The investigation is ongoing, police said. Lexington Road is just across Texas 358 from the 1900 block of Ennis Joslin Road, where 21-year-old New Braunfels student Caleb Harris went missing in the early hours of March 4.
