In support of her albums The Kick Inside and Lionheart, the singer-songwriter played in Edinburgh’s Usher Hall in 1979 in what would be her only ever Scottish performance. Reviews for the tour at the time praised Kate for her performance and vocal abilities, as well as the originality of her work.documentary which was screened that same year.However, after this tour she did not perform in concert again until 2014 when she participated in a 22-show long residency called Before the Dawn in London’s Hammersmith Apollo.

When they approached us to use Running Up That Hill, you could tell that a lot of care had gone into how it was used in the context of the story and I really liked the fact that the song was a positive totem for the character, Max. “I’m really happy that the Duffer Brothers are getting such positive feedback for their latest creation. They deserve it.”
