Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellweger reveals her current living situation in Southern California, near San Diego, is due to her relationship with Ant Anstead. She discusses her desire for a private wedding ceremony and her strong feelings for her partner.
Renee Zellweger has revealed that her romance with Ant Anstead has influenced her choice of residence. The 55-year-old Oscar-winning actress candidly shared her living situation during an interview with her Bridget Jones's Diary co-star, Hugh Grant, for the latest issue of British Vogue. 'I live in Southern California , near San Diego, because that's where my fellow lives, and his little boy,' she stated, referring to Anstead's five-year-old son, Hudson.
Anstead shares Hudson with his ex-wife, Christina Haack, who is currently in the midst of a divorce from her third husband, Josh Hall. Anstead also has two older children, daughter Amelie, 21, and son Archie, 18, from his previous marriage to Louise Anstead. Rumors have been circulating among fans that Renee and Ant have secretly tied the knot, fueled by Anstead's frequent use of the term 'missus' when addressing Zellweger on social media. In July 2023, The US Sun reported that Zellweger confided in friends about her and Anstead's wedding plans, emphasizing a desire for a private and intimate ceremony. An insider revealed that, 'Renee and Ant are keeping their plans incredibly private, they're not planning a big public announcement,' adding that, 'She has been telling her inner circle about organizing their nuptials. Everything will be very low-key. 'Her relationship with Ant is super strong and they're madly in love, and they can't wait to get hitched.' Zellweger's previous marriages were brief. She was married to country star Kenny Chesney for only four months in 2005, followed by an engagement to Jim Carrey from 1999 to 2000. She has also been romantically linked to actors Bradley Cooper and Doyle Bramhall II. Zellweger and Anstead's connection began on the set of his Discovery+ series, Celebrity IOU Joyride, in April 2021.
