John McKinlay admitted assaulting his partner in May when he appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court.
A Renfrew man who pushed his partner down a flight of stairs after they had an argument about how he wanted to take a baby on a late-night trip to the garage to buy cigarettes has been banned by a court from contacting her.
Procurator fiscal depute Ashleigh Pollock previously told Paisley Sheriff Court: “Around 11.45pm on May 30, the accused decided he would walk to a garage to buy cigarettes and take the baby with him.“An argument has taken place with pushing and pulling of one another and at this stage, a mirror smashed causing a laceration to the accused’s head and the back of his neck.
The dedicated team of experienced journalists, responsible for the publication of the award-winning Express, will focus on breaking news, day and night, across Renfrewshire’s towns and villages. “The accused was arrested and taken to Greenock police station. In reply to caution and charge, he stated, ‘It’s a made-up lie’. He was then released on an undertaking to appear at this court.”
