Derek Docherty, 34, faced one charge of murder
A suspect has appeared in court charged with murder after a man was found seriously injured before later dying in a Renfrew street.
A major police investigation was launched with a man arrested and charged in connection with the incident. Derek Docherty has now appeared in private at Paisley Sheriff Court where he made no plea and was remanded in custody. Police Scotland has confirmed that the activity on Campbell Street is linked to the Tennant Street incident.
