Ferguslie Park community campaigners have slammed the lack of planning as streets turned into rivers after rainfall at the weekend.

“I was speaking to people on Blackstoun Road and one of them said if this reaches the house for a fourth time, I am going to have to live somewhere else. That to me demonstrates how people living there have reached the end of their tether with this. Enough is enough. “We need to reshape our focus and realise there are much larger swathes of our community now being affected by this.
