Margaret has seen generations of families come through the school gates.

A stalwart of a Renfrewshire primary school was given a guard of honour as she bid farewell to her workplace of 46 years.

Bashful Margaret desperately tried to avoid the camera on her final day, but Paisley Daily Express photographer Drew Neil managed to capture a fleeting moment showing the affection those at the school have for the dinner lady.
