Work is expected to be completed this year
The renovation of two major Glasgow City Council-owned crematoriums are to be completed this year, it has been confirmed.
An update was brought before the environment and liveable neighbourhoods committee on Tuesday afternoon. Questions were raised about the extent of the work due to be carried out on Linn Crematorium. The official said: “This is due to commence later this year. It will predominantly be dealing with mechanical and electrical but there will be a significant amount of money spent on the aesthetics as well.”
