The Hoops' star midfielder was forced off in the very early stages of the Champions League thriller with Atletico Madrid at Parkhead as he left the park visibly upset after his night came to a very premature end.
He could be seen clutching his lower leg as he made his way off the park to be replaced by Paulo Bernardo. The midfielder has already spent a period on the sidelines this season after limping off against Aberdeen earlier this season in what forced him onto the physio table for around a month.
