The Kill Bill actor was arrested at his home in Malibu for allegedly trespassing on another property. The unnamed property owner tried to make a citizen's arrest against the 64-year-old and phoned the police for assistance.

The owner had tried for the past two years to get the tenants evicted, but because of the moratorium on evictions on account of Covid, it took several months to go through the legal process.
At about 8:30PM the owner received a call phone from his rental house’s security company saying that someone was trying to break into the house. According to booking documents he was given a $500 citation for a misdemeanor and released shortly before 7am on Thursday. 'I am in shock as my son, whom I just spoke with a few days ago, said he was happy - my last text from him was"I love you dad,"' he told the Los Angeles Times.
