The residents of a West Haven apartment unit were displaced Sunday morning after a vehicle lost control and crashed into their kitchen.
The driver of a Camaro reported lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason and slid down an embankment before crashing into the bottom floor of the complex.Chief Permain said that the car did not go through the wall, but pushed it in about a foot. It was determined that the apartment is not livable at this time, but the residents were able to make other housing arrangements while crews work to repair the damages.
