An auspost delivery driver has been slammed over his ‘lazy’ attempt to deliver a package in Newcastle. 7NEWS
The driver is seen casually walking back to his seat where he scans the package and fills out a collection card before putting the parcel back inside the storage box.The entire ‘delivery’ takes about one and a half minutes.
“This is apparently Australia Post’s idea of attempting to deliver a registered post item,” they said.Credit:Other frustrated locals commented on the post, sharing their anger over the driver’s laziness.“At the speed he moved it would have taken just as long to have knocked on the door and probably easier,” another person said.An Australia Post spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au they extended their apologies to the customer.
“Should any delivery not meet the high standards we expect from our team members, we take immediate steps to address this, and as such we’re looking carefully into the matter raised by this customer.
