Residents in Batanes who were affected by Super Typhoon Julian have received relief goods from GMA Kapuso Foundation through its Operation Bayanihan project.According to "24 Oras" Friday, the foundation flew to Batanes with the help of the Office of Civil Defense to deliver aid to some of the evacuees.
These include Linda Delos Santos and her family, who are still recovering after Typhoon Kiko wrecked their home in 2021, as well as Miraluna Balbao and her own family, who are in need of wood and galvanized iron sheets to rebuild their home.The GMA Kapuso Foundation delivered the relief goods to the evacuees and is set to return to Batanes on Saturday to distribute more relief goods to other residents in Batanes who were affected by Julian.
