The rural Pendle town turned into 'warzone' where residents live on edge as youth gangs run wild with gel ball guns
Residents in a quiet Pendle town say they have been left 'living on edge' as gangs of youths armed with gel weapons maraud their streets.
Gel balls and air guns used to shoot them are a relatively recent new fad. The balls, which come in various colours, are created at home by pouring tiny granules into water and leaving them for four hours until they grow in size. "It puts you on edge," Mohammed told LancsLive."Whenever I go into town I'm always glancing around wondering if someone is going to jump out and fire these balls at me."
