The rest of the children aged 12 to 17 will be able to get their Covid-19 booster shots in the coming days, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
Coronavirus vaccines have been prepared for distribution at a vaccination site in Manila on May 18, 2021.
On Wednesday, June 22, the government started administering booster shots to immunocompromised adolescents. The decision to start first with immunocompromised adolescents was part of their “operational strategy” to make the booster vaccination program more “organized” for this age group.
