Return to Paradise star Lloyd Griffith who plays Detective S.C Colin Cartwright in the new Australian series has opened up about how having a hair transplant changed his life
Actor and comedian Lloyd Griffith has opened up about his experience of having a hair transplant and how losing his hair impacted his dating life in particular. Lloyd, 41, who hails from Grimsby is now starring in the Death in Paradise spin-off Return to Paradise based in Australia.
Lloyd turned to using magic black sprinkles to make his hair look thicker. He continued to add: “On the day of the date, I popped into John Lewis and bought some dark blue pillow cases, so that if my sprinkles came off during the night she’d not see them when we woke up. I then woke up extra early to head to the bathroom to style my hair in place again.”
After turning 40, Lloyd decided to hit up some friends who he suspected had a hair transplant to ask questions about the procedure. After looking up different places to do it, Lloyd went to a London clinic. Return to Paradise stars Anna Samson as DI Mackenzie Clarke and returns this Friday at 8pm on BBC One.
