Young returning LDS missionary bumps into Post Malone at St. George airport, gives him a Book of Mormon.
Hyde returned home to St. George last week after serving a two-year mission in Seattle for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Waiting for him at the St. George Regional Airport were about 70 to 75 family members, friends and loved ones. One person Hyde didn’t expect to run into was one of Utah’s most famous residents, rapper“We went over there,” Hyde said, “and he’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, like it’s good to meet you, and welcome home.’”Hyde then gave the musician a copy of his faith’s foundational scripture.
“I do have a Book of Mormon, and all my friend’s like, ‘You’ve got to give it to him.’ So I ran over and grabbed it and then I pulled him out of security to give him the Book of Mormon,” said Hyde. “I told him, ‘It’s the best book in the world; it’ll change your life.’”Elvis’ Book of Mormon.
