DONALD TRUMP's decision to use the National Guard to police protests in Washington DC cost the US taxpayer $21million (£16.7million) according to a Guard spokesperson.
It has been reported that whilst deployed in Washington DC, two soldiers with the South Carolina National Guard were reported to have found glass in their pizza.
