London Stansted was the worst airport for flight delays in the UK last year, new figures show.
The rankings took into account every scheduled and chartered flight from 24 major UK airports, but cancelled services were not included in the analysis.Across all airports, the average delay stood at 16 minutes.More from Stansted AirportLiverpool's John Lennon airport was next, with an average delay of 10 minutes, followed by Doncaster Sheffield, Exeter and Bournemouth, who each recorded an average delay of 12 minutes.
