'Hearing the stories of famous people can be fascinating, but what about those of the unknowns in the ensemble - the people who are not (yet) famous?'
If it's your first time watching A Chorus Line, you might well have had the theme tune for 80s TV series Fame running through your brain.
Hearing these voices certainly makes for a highly original musical and the audience are quickly drawn in as casting director Zach grills his first victim, the entertaining Mike Costa, played with pizazz by Redmond Rance. Vocals are strong, with particular highlights being Chloe Saunders as Val delivering an endearing song about looks eclipsing talent: Dance: Ten looks Three.
