In the last year Shane has sold out shows across America & Canada, been tour support for Kevin Hart and enjoyed continued success with his hugely popular Tea With Me podcast

The Co Down man's talent has taken the comedy scene by storm, and his work is enjoyed by people across the world. But like most things in life, there is nowhere better than home. I would be taking a wild guess here but I'd say performing a set in front of a home crowd would be hard to beat for anyone in that industry.

In the last year, Shane Todd has sold out shows across America & Canada, been tour support for Kevin Hart and enjoyed continued success with his hugely popular Tea With Me podcast - and this new show gives a real insight into Shane's life as a father of two boys, and as a son himself. Andrew Ryan would be a comedian who has only came on to my radar in recent months - so I wasn't as familiar with him or his background. After Wednesday night, I was sore from laughing at his jokes which had a bit of Cork charm and 'EU' humour to them - in a room full of people from all backgrounds, he really took risks and they paid off. That's the brilliant thing about comedy, and comedy in Belfast to be more particular.

Having been to Shane Todd gigs in previous years, his new show was a real follow on from what we had seen before - almost a next chapter. He gives an open insight into the different experiences between baby number one, and then baby number two - something most parents of two children or more can relate to.

If you haven't been to a Shane Todd live show - go! If you have? Go again! Enjoy the surroundings of the Grand Opera House, the incredible support acts and of course, the ability to laugh at Shane's misfortunes in life and to forget about your own for a few hours.
