One for the list!
Opening its doors only a few weeks ago, Graphite in Newcastle Co Down has been the topic of conversation amongst locals and those who have travelled to try it out.
Making a visit on a Sunday, we were given a wide-range of selection on the menu. It was refreshing, as there have been spots we have tried before on a Sunday, where the options were limited to roasts. Not in Graphite.Graphite's menu has eight different sections to choose from - breads, snacks, small plates, shellfish, large plates, roasts, steaks and vegetarian. Alongside this, was a list of sides too compliment the above.
My other half had the mussels, which arrived to the table and were huge. But of course, nothing was left in the dish when the staff came back to clear our plates. My partner had a beef burger - sounds boring yes - but in his words, 'that was the best burger I have ever tasted'. He actually wanted this entire review to be focused on the burger because of how good the meats were. The burger came in a brioche bap, with beef shin, tomato relish and pickles. Again, not too sure how he ate it all, after the starters that were put away with ease.A questions which should have had a straight answer - no.
