The owner of a violin stolen last week from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church has increased the reward for the instrument’s safe return.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -
Alan Choo said the 2018 Jason Viseltear baroque violin was taken between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, March 8, during a rehearsal lunch break from the church on Fairmount Blvd. “My work as a musician goes on, and the power of communicating music has taken on a new profound meaning for me recently,” said Choo.Choo’s backpack with his AirPods was also stolen and he said the live location on his AirPods has stopped.“This violin has been such a major part of my career and I would be sad to not play on it again. Any help and lookout for me much appreciated! Thank you everyone,” posted Choo on Facebook.
