Rey Is A Jedi Who's Learned The Power Of Prophecy Prophecy governed the Star Wars sequel trilogy as well Rey, however, has seen the power of prophecy firsthand. As Palpatine realized in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Rey was part of a prophesied Force Dyad - an ancient Sith vision that became the basis for the Rule of Two itself. According to ancient Sith lore, the Force Dyad had the raw power to transcend time and space.
While it is true that prophecy can be abused, Rey has come to learn the truth; that a Jedi who is granted a vision or prophecy is submitting themselves to the will of the Force itself. This grants Rey a hard-earned wisdom the prequel Jedi Order never possessed. And it means Rey's Jedi Order can be far more competent and capable than their predecessors.
