Hindsight has taught the Ballymena MMA star to treat every setback and defeat as a learning curve, a crucial step on the ultimate road to glory.
On Saturday night he returns to the UFC when he fights Ange Loosa at the Accor Arena in Paris, and McKee insists he is a completely different beast to the one that fought three years ago. "I don't look at this as an opportunity. I deserve to be here and I know I am a world level fighter and I am ready to show everyone how good I can be.He added: "I am scared of nobody. Look who I have fought. I am a hard man to sicken and my record proves that."I have had three wins on the bounce since then and I am in a good place. I am the man of the moment right now.
"I can't even express how different I am now. I remember making welterweight ton six days' notice back then. "Then the massive fights in Belfast and Dublin. All this wouldn't have happened without those UFC defeats.""Everything earned, not one thing given. I have had to work my way back to this stage," he said."I think it's natural selling line to say there is pressure on me being back in the UFC. But again, I am the man of the moment. The momentum is with me."I don't feel pressure, but I can understand why other people see it.
