'I typically spend £1,500 on a dinner out - but I traded that in to be homeless for three nights'
A RICH kid who thought nothing of blowing £1,500 on a meal out has traded in his pampered lifestyle for three nights on the streets.
Hanif admits that some might find his methods of money making ‘immoral’ adding “For me to make a bit someone has to lose a lot of money.” But quickly his plan takes a back seat as survival becomes his priority and just an hour into his first night on the streets, he visits a chicken shop to beg for food, which the staff kindly provides.
His second night on the street is just as fruitless, and with no job in sight Hanif visits the soup kitchen where he is given a bumper sized portion of pasta, and is visibly touched by the gesture. George, who has written four books, tells Hanif: “I don't consider myself homeless, I call this extreme weather camping – I can spend hours researching, instead of working for someone.”
