The former Sky Sports presenter gave his thoughts on the Red Devils' new boss
Former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys has issued Ruben Amorim a stark warning ahead of the Portuguese's first game in charge of Manchester United this Sunday. The pair present English and European football coverage from Doha, Qatar.
“They let him spend another £200m+ on rubbish & now there’s nothing for Amorim. Somebody in the brains trust should be fired. There’s nothing for Amorim to work with.” Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte’s performances have also been relatively underwhelming, considering his hefty price tag. Amorim will take charge of his first game as head coach of United on Sunday, 24 November, when the Red Devils will face a tough test against Ipswich Town at Portman Road. The 39-year-old will be expecting a raucous atmosphere in what will be the Tractor Boys’ first Premier League meeting with the 20-time league title winners since April 2002.
