Richard Madeley has joked about the colour of his tan after Good Morning Britain viewers questioned how much time he had spent on the tanning bed.
The TV presenter was called out by guest Mark-Francis Vandelli who asked ‘have you been in Barbados or Mustique?’ In response, Richard acknowledged that he had heard he was trending on social media and said: ‘I was in the south of France for two weeks and came back a few days ago and I agree with you, it’s looking a bit orange.’What made it all the worse though, was that his ears were looking much whiter than the rest of his face.‘It can only be make-up, I am sorry everybody, but there is a tan underneath,’ he added before admitting: ‘It is a bit pumpkin-like.
