Richard Moore has been named as the new head of MI6, replacing Sir Alex Younger.

Mr Moore has also previously held director roles in the SIS and has been deputy national security adviser at the Cabinet Office. Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said Mr Moore brings"tremendous experience" to the role and"will oversee the work of a group of men and women whose tireless efforts are rarely seen in public, but which are critical for the security and prosperity of the UK".
