THE Brexit Party has said Boris Johnson’s recent promise to renegotiate the Brexit deal without the backstop proves why they are the only party that can be trusted to get the UK out of the EU and deliver on the will of the people.
But European Council president Mr Tusk quickly rejected the plans by warning those seeking to replace it would risk a return to a hard border on the island of Ireland.
