Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Rick and Morty: The Anime Episode 2!Rick and Morty: The Anime has officially revived one of the main show's most controversial couples. There have been many notable relationships throughout Rick and Morty that have ranged from genuinely sweet to absolutely toxic. However, only one stands out as the most controversial in the entire show's run, and it's been brought back, hinting at a renewed future between Tammy and Birdperson.
The final scene sees Tammy come face-to-face with Birdperson and their daughter as she smiles, hinting that the two could get back together again. Tammy Returns To the Rick and Morty Multiverse, But She Seems Different Could She Actually Make a Romance Work This Time Around? For the most part, Tammy still seems to be the same as she was when she was last seen in season 4's finale. However, even with her cybernetically-enhanced body allowing her to stand up to Space Beth, there's a crucial turning point in their battle that hints something could be changing for the character.
This leads to a total existential crisis for Tammy as she lets Space Beth's words sink in. After all, she gave up a peaceful life for the Galactic Federation, so it's entirely possible that she may want to renew her relationship with her former flame. Even Birdperson seems to be willing to give her a second chance, as he shows her their daughter for the first time. Given how sincere she appears in the episode's final shot, it looks like she's willing to give love another shot.
