Earlier this year, Ricky Gervais had us both in our feelings and in stitches with his harrowing yet hilarious new comedy series, After Life.
And the six-part series left us wanting more from the UK comedian, and fans called for a second series of After Life. The streaming service tweeted a photo of Ricky's character Tony sat with Penelope Wilton's character Anne sat on a bench with a quote from the series written on which said: "Happiness is amazing. It's so amazing it doesn't matter if it's yours or not."
Sharing a selfie of himself holding up the After Life 2 script on his Instagram, Ricky said in the caption: “Finished. 5 weeks till filming #AfterLife2.”
