The new Ride1Up Prodigy V2 offers a big name drivetrain at small town pricing, with surprisingly good spec throughout.
Ride1Up’s e-bike catalog is almost entirely driven by hub motors and under $2,000, sometimes way under. The Prodigy is their sole mid-motor option, and the new Prodigy V2 gets some serious upgrades with a Gates Carbon Belt Drive and Brose mid-motor for just $2,695.
Unlike most of their other bikes, this one doesn’t have a throttle, it only assists your own pedaling efforts. There are four assist modes and a full-color display to show them off, along with your speed and distance.Other Specs & Details It comes with a 100mm travel air-sprung suspension fork, Tektro hydraulic disc brake with 180mm rotors, and alloy fenders front and rear.
