US authorities prepare for potential civil unrest, as Trump arrest may be imminent

New York county district attorney, Alvin Bragg, is investigating the ex-president over an alleged hush money payment he made to former porn star, Stormy Daniels, to keep an affair between the two quiet. Trump has been vocal on social media about his expectations of an arrest and has repeatedly encouraged his supporters to protest if and when it happens.
In a video posted to his social media platform, Truth Social, on Monday night the former US president said: "Our enemies are desperate to stop us because they know that we are the only ones who can stop them."
