’ Ferdinand, however, did concede that Garnacho’s imperfect fit with Amorim’s system may explain why the club were willing to consider letting him go. ‘He’s the one player who actually runs off the ball without the ball. He’s always very direct but I think the system is going to be the one thing that goes against him,’ he added.
