Nadhim Zahawi faces a formal ethics probe into his taxes as the Conservative party chairman fights to save his job.
The Prime Minister told reporters: “Integrity and accountability is really important to me and clearly in this case there are questions that need answering.” Mr Zahawi will continue as party chairman and minister without portfolio while the investigation continues. Mr Sunak said: “As is longstanding practice, he will continue to play the role he does.”
