I'm always on the hunt for a smart yet comfortable outfit to wear in the office that doesn't compromise on style.
I'm really trying to steer away from that wasting money on outfits, so whenever I go shopping I try to find as many versatile outfits as possible. I took a trip to River Island on Church Street with the aim to find a cute outfit for the office, and I definitely succeeded.Whilst mooching around the store, I came across an absolutely stunning petite dogtooth blazer and shorts set.
It had a really smart and comfortable fit, with slightly padded shoulders, and because it was in the petite section of the River Island store it didn't drown my 5'3 frame either. The Petite Blue Bouclé Shorts are currently available online priced at £37 in sizes 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 - although I'd definitely recommend sizing up if you want to be comfortable.
The shorts include side slip pockets with button fastening, but as previously mentioned, definitely size up if you actually want to be able to do up the buttons. When the blazer and the shorts are both combined, the outfit looks like something fresh from Emily in Paris, and I'm so here for it.
