A busy road in Beeston has been partially closed after an incident involving overhead tram wires, which have brought some of NET's services to a halt. Nottinghamshire Live understands that a lorry collided with the overhead wires in Middle Street this morning .
Images show buses and lorries taped into the cordon. NET engineers are at the site assessing the situation. Nottinghamshire Police is also at both ends of the cordon in Middle Street. In a statement released this morning, NET said: "We currently have no Service between Cator Lane and the University of Nottingham.
