Emergency crews raced to the scene after a Land Rover Defender crashed on the B7035.
Cops were alerted to to the incident, involving a green Land Rover Defender on the B7035, Girvan to Dailly Road, around 7.30pm on Saturday, July, 27.
The road was shut for almost 12 hours to allow investigations to be carried out and re-opened around 7.45am this morning, Sunday, July, 28.Sergeant Brian Simpson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this difficult time.
