The CatStrand in New Galloway is set to host a night of infectious energy and genre-defying music next month.. Their eclectic musical approach, infused with a sharp sense of humour and undeniable stage presence, has captivated audiences across the UK and Europe.
With five albums under their belt, Rob Heron and The Tea Pad Orchestra have performed at prestigious festivals like Glastonbury and the Cambridge Folk Festival, while also bringing their spirited performances to intimate venues such as village halls and barns. Their ability to deliver high-energy shows in any setting has earned them a devoted following.
Having toured alongside Americana heavyweights like Pokey LaFarge, The Dead South, and Sierra Ferrell, the band has garnered praise from leading figures in the music industry. Their music has been championed by Marc Riley and Huey Morgan of BBC Radio 2, and they’ve been featured multiple times on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends.
The band’s eagerly anticipated sixth album, Feet First is set to be released soon and captures the raw, live energy of the band’s performances.
