What was your impression of that?

I think that’s a more specific way to get me to do what I said I’m not going to do . Again, I’m not going to talk today, I just think it’s unfair to the A’s. They deserve to file their relocation application. When I have all of the information in that application, if and when I see concerns in respect to it, I’ll talk about it publicly. Until that happens, I’m not going to do it.

Well then, it’d probably be preferable to ask him, but he doesn’t want to seem to be asked — do you think John Fisher is making a good-faith effort to field a winning team? And in terms of thinking about something like a relocation fee, could you sort of walk us through the process of what that would look like with the owners?

Yeah, everything that gets paid to central baseball goes into the central fund and gets redistributed.Yeah, I just said it’s not a realistic possibility. I was explaining why: I have said publicly, there’s no waiver document, but I have said publicly that we’re not looking for a relocation fee.
