Surveillance footage released by a jewelry store on the Jersey Shore shows thieves breaking in and taking off with expensive jewelry, handbags and other high-end merchandise.on Sunday. The post says the robbery occurred at 2:59 a.m. on Sunday and that about $300,000 worth of items were taken.In the short clip shared by Queen May Jewelry, two subjects can be seen climbing through a shattered glass door, removing items from shelves and handing them to a third person who is standing outside.
“We are looking to the power of social media to catch these criminals,” the Instagram post said. “We ask you to forward this video to any pawn or second hand merchants.” The store declined to comment further and referred questions to the Cape May Police Department. The department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
