UK pop icon Robbie William has revealed that he wants to make a sequel to Better Man - in spite of the film not doing so well in America.

On paper, the film is familiar biopic material, charting the popstar’s rise to fame, and subsequent struggles with addiction, poor mental health, and subsequent career resurgence. This is no ordinary biopic though – with Robbie, 50, portrayed as a CGI monkey throughout.
Robbie’s not so well-known in the States The film may have disappointed financially, but those who have seen it are reacting more favourably – with the film scoring 88% on Rotten Tomatoes with reviews from 180 critics so far. Metro’s own Senior Film Reporter Tori Brazier gave Better Man 4.5 stars, praising the ‘unflinching writing’ and describing it as suitably ‘bananas.
