Robbie Williams is on course to make history again with the Better Man soundtrack featuring music from his biopic.
Robbie Williams has something to celebrate this week Robbie Williams is set to land his 15th number one album in the UK after the release of the soundtrack to his biopic film Better Man. The Michael Gracey film, which follows Robbie’s life before fame, as part of Take That, and as a solo singer, depicts the Rock DJ hitmaker, 50, as a monkey.
It’ll be yet another number one album for Robbie Williams scored his first solo number one with Life Thru A Lens in 1997, which was his first major release after leaving Take That in 1995. As the 90s drew to a close, Robbie became one of the biggest popstars in the country and went to number one with his second album I’ve Been Expecting You in 1998. Sing When You’re Winning continued the winning streak in 2000, while his 2001 swing-inspired album Swing When You’re Winning also topped the charts.
