The T-shirt design for this year's race has also been shared
With ten weeks to go until the Robin Hood Half Marathon, the organisers have revealed the racecourse and T-shirt design for 2024. After a record number of entries, there will be up to 10,000 participants taking part in the race on Sunday, September 29.
This year's course throughout the city will remain unchanged from 2023 due to its overwhelming popularity. It will start and end at the Victoria Embankment, but over the 13.1 mile course runners will go in and around the city as well as past Nottingham Castle and Wollaton Park. The T-shirt design for the upcoming race celebrates Nottingham's rich heritage and includes the iconic stags inspired by the city's coat of arms and Wollaton Park. Judith Manson, race director, said: "This event celebrates the unity of Nottingham’s running community and showcases the spirit of camaraderie among participants of all ages and abilities.
"We are excited to deliver an unforgettable race day experience for our runners and residents alike." The Robin Hood Half Marathon and Mini Marathons bring out the community spirit in Nottingham as well as the city's dedication to fitness and wellbeing. Due to the exceptional demand being shown this year, people are strongly advised to register their interest early as adjustments to participant limits may be necessary.
